The Sri Lankan Journal of Infectious Diseases (SLJID) is an open access, peer-reviewed, biannual journal published by the Society for Microbiology (SSM). considers articles from all professional disciplines involved in field infectious diseases. has been publication since 2011, included DOAJ 2018 and a member COPE 2021. SLJID practices double-blind peer review policy. From 2022, publishes accepted manuscripts online immediately after copy-editing, enabling rapid dissemination scientific knowledge. are subsequently compiled into two issues April October. does not charge any article processing or fee.
